The 60’s

Designed in the early 1960s by Silvano and Nara, “Villa Albatro” (this is the name with which the structure was baptized) has witnessed the growth and development of the quietest and most sought-after area of San Vincenzo: the so-called “Conchiglia area”. From the day of its construction, it has warmly welcome many families each year – and always with great kindness from the hosts – during their vacation and relaxation periods.

The 80’s

In the 1980s Claudio, son of Silvano and Nara, and Mara (his wife), aware of the success of the apartments, began the first expansion works on the villa. Scaglietti. The house was divided into a large apartment plus two smaller ones on the ground floor bordering the garage. They were only rented in the summer and, therefore, the garage was our kingdom for three seasons. The neighbors were distant and you could make a noise, at least until Silvano, Claudio's father with a devil for hair, came down the stairs. Silvano was a stationmaster and, when he worked at night, he would have liked to sleep during the day: so we learned to stick to his waking hours. (...)

Claudio had a good musical ear and many talents, including that of being a good guitarist and that of never losing his temper. He addressed everyone, always with an authoritarian but calm tone and always tried to prove his theses (theories) without imposing himself, he was the undisputed (absolute) and undisputed leader.
